About Us
Aye Mami Women was founded by two cousins, Carmen Raygoza and Alba Gonzalez. Carmen and Alba wanted to bring together women to speak freely of their healing journey and inspire others to push through the struggles of life.
In October of 2023, the first Aye Mami Women event was held without knowing what to expect. At first, a group of women were going to come together to speak on their journeys as Domestic Violence survivors. As the event planning moved along, local women owned businesses began reaching out with interest in becoming vendors at our first event. Before we knew it, we had over 15 vendors book to be apart of this event. With an unexpected turn out of 50+ attendees, Aye Mami kicked off.
We began doing a tour to bring awareness to other businesses and thus why AMW, is never held in the same place twice.
With time, we have built a community of women for women to speak on the dark truth of womanhood and be able to express freely their thoughts, desires, aches and pains. Not only does AMW host mixers, but we have our monthly vendor pop-ups to help small businesses increase their visibility and for them to network.
